The staff were super cool and helpful, always making sure we had a good time. The dormitories were cozy and comfortable, perfect for chilling after our adventurous hikes in Kalaw. Plus, the hostel had free Wi-Fi, so we could share all our awesome pictures with our friends back home. It was like a home away from home!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening common area. It would have been awesome if there were some fun activities or a cool hangout spot where we could meet other young travelers and have a blast together.

I was overwhelmed with joy by the incredible amenities at this hostel - a garden, terrace, shared lounge, free WiFi, a business center, a fitness center, a restaurant, and even a children's playground! Wow, I never wanted to leave!
The only downside was that unicorns didn't roam the garden and sprinkle magical fairy dust on me. So disappointing.

The hostel had a campfire and activities like playing rattan ball, chess, and cards. I enjoyed meeting fellow travelers and the musical atmosphere with someone always playing and singing.

I recently stayed at the Roma Inn in Kalaw for a trek to Inle Lake. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped arrange a pickup for me from the bus stop when I arrived early in the morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I also enjoyed meeting other travelers in the common area and easily arranging my trek. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and they even had a welcome sign for me upon arrival.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hostel offered a warm welcome to its guests with a sign to greet us on arrival, which was a nice touch. the staff were helpful and offered great recommendations for exploring the area. the location was perfect, situated in a natural, scenic area, away from the noise and hustle-bustle of the city center. the breakfast was included, which was a bonus and convenient.
The room did not have air conditioning or a fan, and the windows did not have screens, making it hard to get fresh air without being attacked by mosquitoes and flying insects. This was slightly uncomfortable during the night, especially for those unaccustomed to the heat and humidity.

The guestrooms at Hostel Roma Inn are incredibly comfortable and ensure a good night's sleep. They have everything you need, from additional toilets to fireplaces, providing a cozy and homely atmosphere. The linens are fresh, and the mirrors are just perfect for checking your outfit before stepping out. The seating area is a great place to relax, and the desk is perfect for catching up on work. the rooms are simply delightful and make you feel right at home.
Personally, I found the showers to be a bit small at Hostel Roma Inn. However, I understand that some people might not mind this, and it was just my opinion.

Had a wonderful Christmas vacation at this hostel. The friendly staff provided us with fantastic breakfast and delicious coffee. They even arranged for our trekking to nearby locations. the location was stunning and it gave us easy access to the city. The rooms were clean and perfectly maintained.
The hostel could have improved upon its water heaters as we had some trouble taking hot showers. , the place was a bit muddy and slippery when it rained, and could benefit from a no shoes policy.
